YOUR ALUMNI COUNCIL
The Andrew Young School Alumni Council, founded in 2020, is a leadership and civic-minded organization that supports the Andrew Young School’s mission and grows the AYS alumni community.
The programmatic work crafted for this council is intended to enhance the alumni relations experience, provide avenues for ambassadorship, expand and improve communications, deepen programmatic engagement, and generate affinity within the AYS alumni community.

The purpose of the Andrew Young School Alumni Council is as follows:
- To organize a community of alumni leaders supporting the Andrew Young mission and 41 vision.
- To provide a robust and enriching forum in which alumni of the Andrew Young School can continue building their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- To encourage service and volunteerism in the AYS alumni community and support recognition efforts aimed at amplifying the voices of members of the AYS alumni population.
- To increase the engagement of members of the AYS alumni population for AYS events and any other pertinent university-sponsored activities.
- To deepen affinity in the AYS alumni community for the college, Georgia State, and the overall AYS alumni population.
